Year of Consecrated Life

The Year of Consecrated Life declared by Pope Francis began on the First Sunday of Advent, November 30, 2014 and will conclude on the feast of the Presentation of Our Lord, February 2, 2016.

This international celebration will bring to light and honor the work of consecrated people who dedicate their lives in service to God and humanity.

Furthermore, the year of consecrated life is being recognized and celebrated in so many ways and the Little Servants of Mary Immaculate Sisters will participate in this special year with regular updates which will include stories of sisters and different activities happening in our LSMI communities.

Additionally, in the month of December, all senior members of the LSMI will be honored. This will take place at the Provincial Retreat Centre in Lusaka during the Annual General Assembly.

During this special year, we invite you to join us in praying for all religious women and men, and for many young people all over the world to consider a religious vocation.
