This period is a time of discernment intended to help candidates make their personal decision regarding God’s plan for them. The purpose of this stage is to provide candidates who show signs of having a religious vocation with the necessary formation as they prepare to follow Christ with a generous spirit and purity of intention.

During this time she is expected to live the daily schedule of the house, and to be involved in some work in the community. She will have regular discussions with the Vocation Promoter in which she may deepen her understanding of the Religious Life and learn something of the Little Servants of Mary Immaculate spirit and way of life. This initial stage of Religious Formation takes one year.
